AI reveals a new understanding of the human brain.
Certain brain conditions, like multiple sclerosis and migraines, affect men and women at different rates and severity. To help find the underlying reason, researchers used AI to analyze brain scans. It was able to spot structural patterns and differences between the brains of men and women that are invisible to the human eye. Most of the variations were located in the white matter. The research is published in the journal Scientific Reports.

This finding offers a new avenue to study memory, and potentially treat related diseases. The research is published in the journal Nature Communications.
